Judith (Judi) Todd Brown, 83, of Spanish Fork Utah, formally of Tallula Illinois passed away December 15, 2024. Judi was born on July 2, 1941, at her family's home in Atterberry, Illinois. She was born into the Todd family, the daughter of James T. Todd and Elsie (Sitzmann) Todd.
Judi began working at a young age, starting as a waitress. She later joined Hawkeye Security Insurance Company as a secretary, eventually transitioning to an inside adjuster role. She completed her career as an outside adjuster at Standard Mutual Insurance. where she handled home and auto claims, including many large storm related catastrophes across the Midwest and western United States.
Judi is survived by her children Toddene (Mike) McCoy of Ashland IL, J.R. (Cori) Brown of Spanish Fork, UT; her grandchildren Matt (Samantha), Royce (Kristina), Trevor (Breanna), Connor (Jessica) and Hunter Brown. Ten great grandchildren (with two more on the way). Two sisters Mary (Wayne) Hinrichs and Doby (Bob) Potter, her brother Bob (Sue) Todd, one nephew Todd Hinrichs (Tonya), three nieces Beth (Nate) Dooley, Tara (Jason) Bolding and Trina Todd.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, James T. Todd and Elsie (Sitzmann) Todd, her husband James Brown and her former husband.
She had a wide range of interests, including bowling, softball, attending and clerking at auctions, antiquing, and, most of all, participating in family reunions. Judi was also passionate about collecting coins and had a special fondness for clocks, pocket watches and wristwatches. She was proud to be one of the original members of the Tallula BLS team and served as a Trustee for the Tallula Fire Department.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tallula BLS or the Tallula Fire Department.
