Obituary

Judith L. Noble was born March 28, 1955 in La Paz, Bolivia, five minutes before her twin sister Ruth. When she was three years old she had a chance meeting with then vice-president Richard Nixon at a medical clinic where he promised her and her twin sister US educations when they turned 18. When that time came they chose to attend BYU as their family had recently become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She made many friends and met her husband Norman at BYU. After getting married in the Los Angeles temple they lived in Southern California where their first two children, Jennifer and Charles were born. After moving to Utah they had two more children, Lindsay and Rachel. Judy was very talented at everything she did. She loved to play volleyball and passed that love to all of her children. She wasn't the tallest, but she was the scrappiest, defensive player you ever saw. She didn't love to cook dinner, but loved to make Bolivian food, especially empanadas. She was a wonderful seamstress, and would make Easter dresses, and Halloween costumes for her family. She made porcelain dolls for a few years and collected dolls too. She loved Disneyland, it was the first place she visited when she came to the US and they gave her a key to the castle. She took trips almost every year when her kids were little and after they were grown she would visit with her best friend Barbara and her twin sister as often as she could. She got her degree in accounting later in life and loved to work. She made so many of her friends from work. She loved to play all kinds of games and was very competitive. Her favorite channel was game show network. She loved to shop. TJ Maxx was her favorite store, hands down. If she wasn't at work or home, she was sure to be found at TJ Maxx. She is survived by her husband Norman, and children Jennifer (Colin), Charles (Candace), Lindsay (Benjamin) and Rachel (Adam) and 13 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 3 granddaughters, her brother Raul and her parents. She loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world. She was loved by all who met her. She had a special ability to make everyone feel included and loved. She died August 27th surrounded by her family at home, after a year long battle with cancer. She will be so missed because she was the backbone of the family. She was the cleanest, and the most organized. She was always right, even if she was wrong. She was taken too soon. She will be forever missed. Please join us for a Celebration of Life on September 4th at 1:00 PM. There will also be a viewing that same day at 11:30 AM. The service will be held at Walker Sanderson Mortuary 646 E 800 N in Orem, Utah. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations for funeral costs.
