Karen Anene Millet Zobell -- Our fun-loving, beautiful, kind, generous, bargain-hunting wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma passed from this life on Sunday morning, January 24, 2021.
Karen was the baby of her family, born January 31, 1946 to Archie and Wanda Millet. She grew up in south Provo, attending Franklin Elementary, Dixon Middle School and graduated from Provo High School.
In 1968, after a whirl-wind romance she met and married her husband of 53 years, Brent Leon Zobell. She was the loving mother of Kurtis, Melisa and Skyler and the doting grandmother to nine beautiful grandkids and great-grandma to one (plus one on the way!).
Mom was a collector - she had a weakness for anything with watermelons! Mom had copious amounts of decorations for every holiday and always made her home welcoming and fun for family and friends alike.
Mom had the innate ability to make people feel loved, accepted and important. She loved to find a bargain and her kids and grandkids were often the recipients of those treasured finds. But she didn't discriminate, friends would often get calls from mom asking if they needed something that she'd found at a yard sale or better yet - an estate sale.
Her love of finding a bargain was only eclipsed by her love for her family. It didn't matter if she was tired, in pain or just plain too busy - she'd make time for her kids and grandkids - they were everything to her and she would do literally anything for them.
Your sudden departure has left us breathless and our hearts are broken. We will miss you mom, you weren't without your faults but you loved us fiercely and wanted the best for us. It's time for you to rest now mom, you deserve it!
