Charlie immigrated in 1954 to Canada and upon receiving his Green Card in 1957 made his way to Los Angeles CA. He brought his Mechanical Engineering degree with him to the US and went on to earn additional degrees as an Electrical Engineer and an Aeronautical Engineer.
