Kathleen Ann Frewin Carter 1945-2017 Kathi Carter, 72, Orem, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 17th, 2017 after a 10-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Kathi was born on March 23rd, 1945 in Salt Lake City, UT, the second of 4 children to Daniel James and Elouise Ann Frewin. Kathi married her sweetheart, Doug, in 1966 in Memphis, TN and was sealed to him one year later in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Kathi and her young family moved to Utah in 1976 where she was a dedicated and loving mother to her 5 daughters and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior. Kathi served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved all of her callings in the church but especially enjoyed serving in the Young Women's organization and cherished the relationships she made. Kathi loved staying home and raising her girls. Once they were in school, she enjoyed her time at the Tupperware office and the 20 years she worked as the administrative assistant in the School of Accountancy and Information Systems at BYU where she was a favorite of the Administrative Staff and student secretaries. The highlight of Kathi's life was being a mom, grandma and gigi. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was an incredible example of Christ-like love and service. Her positive outlook on life stayed with her to the end. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Kathi is survived by her daughters, Shelly Morgan Christensen (Lowell), Amy Dickerson, Alanna Kemavor (Bill), Ele Morgan (Jack), Janna Carter; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 granddog. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 25th at 11:00 am at the Sharon 4th ward 430 South 700 East Orem, UT with a viewing held prior from 9:30am-10:30am.
