We lost our beloved mother, Kathleen Baum Titensor, on September 8, 2021 at the age of 56. Born in Orem, Kathleen was known for many things including playing the guitar, substitute teaching, early morning walks, and quietly dominating game nights. Need your kitchen organized? Kathleen would show up with a list and label maker. Need a dessert? She would bring her family recipes and an apron. Kathleen always had the next vacation neatly planned and enjoyed creating new memories with those she loved. Which is why, of all the titles Kathleen could wear, she cherished her title of 'mom' and 'grandma' the most. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Kathleen was proud to be a missionary alongside her husband in Mexico City, sharing lessons of faith, charity, and overcoming adversity with her mission family. She is remembered by her forever smile and outward focus. Her pursuit of spreading love and service began decades before donning a nametag, and Kathleen was known throughout her life for kindness before all else. She was always teaching, even when she said nothing at all, with an infectious optimism guided by her trust in Heavenly Father's Plan. Kathleen passed away peacefully at home in Orem, in the arms of her beloved husband of 36 years—a bookend to an earth life dedicated to serving her family and countless souls beyond her own home. Her family is confident Kathleen is now reunited with her mother and together continues to cheerfully do all that lies within her power to minister to others. Kathleen is survived by her father Haws, husband Todd, 4 children, and 5 grandchildren. They invite you to join them at a memorial service on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, 11:00 a.m. in the Sharon Stake Center, 545 South 800 East, Orem. Family and friends may visit Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, or Tuesday morning at the church from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Orem City Cemetery.
