IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenyon Clinton
Snow
December 30, 1995 – June 22, 2023
Kenyon C. Snow 12/30/1995 - 6/22/2023
In the early morning hours of June 22, 2023 our loving Heavenly Father determined it was time for our beloved Kenyon Snow to return to his heavenly home. He departed peacefully in his sleep after years of battling ulcerative colitis and the painful & debilitating complications associated with the illness.
Kenyon was born on December 30, 1995 to Clinton W. & Allison Duckett Snow in Provo, Utah. He attended Provost Elementary, Centennial Middle School, and Timpview High School. He was an avid sports fan and a natural athlete and could play just about any sport with ease. His preference was baseball. He excelled at playing catcher from the time he was in little league until graduation from Timpview High School in 2014. Kenyon enjoyed watching and attending sporting events of all kinds, including BYU, the Utah Jazz, & spring training in Arizona. Above all, he loved watching his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, especially when he could do it with his dad. Kenyon also loved working on cars, riding motorcycles, playing his guitars and drums, listening to "his style of music" on vinyl records, fishing & camping, learning new things, expressing his oft times unfiltered and sometimes politically incorrect opinions, and making those around him laugh. More than all of those things, he loved snowboarding, because that is what brought Becca McKell into his life. He has told many of us over the years that he fell in love with Becca the moment he saw her at the Sundance ticket office. That love only grew deeper as they began dating and started planning for a life together. They were sealed for time and all eternity on October 22, 2016 in the Provo City Center Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His years with Becca were the best of times. They included snowboarding, dressing up for Halloween, camping, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, laughing until one of them lost bladder control, game time with family, serving others, looking out for those in need, and going for drives up the canyon. At the same time, there were very difficult and challenging times. Becca helped him endure the intense and all too frequent surgeries, ER visits, and hospital stays resulting from his chronic illness.
Kenyon was very patriotic. He loved the flag and what it stands for. He was proud to be a native Utahn and a citizen of this great country. He was also proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the gospel and of the Savior. As outspoken and as outgoing as he was, he did not often speak of or share his feelings about the gospel. These were very personal, closely guarded, and sacred to him. Nonetheless, they were there. He had a strong conviction of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Kenyon is survived by his wife, Becca McKell Snow, his parents, Clint Snow and Allison Duckett Snow, and his younger sister, Marley Snow. He is also survived by Becca's family who love him as their own.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 am at the LDS chapel on 325 North Canal Drive, Lindon, Utah.
