Kerry Glen Maxfield, our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother left this mortal life to be embraced by his Father in Heaven on March 30, 2023 at the age of 75.

He was born November 28, 1947, to Glendon and Elaine Buell Maxfield in Price, Utah.

Kerry attended Orem High School where he met Susan, who he married on March 19, 1966. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple in 1973.

Dad was employed with Geneva Steel for 35 years, he later moved onto a custodial supervisor position at BYU for 10 years.

Dad was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. Dad's garden was his pride and joy. He loved watching thunderstorms and would call all of his kids to watch it with him. He enjoyed metal detecting and western movies. Dad enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a dedicated provider.

Dad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a deep affection for our Savior and had a profound love for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Due to our knowledge of the gospel, we believe Dad is no longer suffering and is whole again. We know we will be with our loving father again someday.

Dad will be truly missed, yet we know he is with loved ones and at rest in his glory. Kerry is survived by his 5 children; Tonya of Provo, Utah, Nikki (Mark) of Spring Lake, Utah, Shane of Craig, Colorado, Jeremy of Provo, Utah, and Kristy of Spanish Fork, Utah.

Six grandchildren; Ashley, Mandi, Kaitlyn, Lexi, Austin, and Alyssa. Five great-grandchildren; Oaklynn, Shaylynn, Deagan, Toni, and Lincoln.

Kerry was preceded in death by his wife Susan, his father Glen Maxfield, his mother Buell Maxfield, and sister Shirley Nielsen.
