IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kevin Carl
Louder
January 16, 1982 – September 7, 2025
Our dear son, brother, uncle and friend Kevin Carl Louder passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the tender age of 43.
Kevin was born in Provo on January 16. After a brief sojourn in San Antonio, Kevin spent his early childhood growing up in Highland.
From an early age it was obvious Kevin had a knack for fixing anything that was broken. He started by tinkering with toasters, graduated to go-carts and eventually became a self-taught auto and equipment mechanic.
But Kevin's greatest strength was his ability to help other people fix whatever was broken in their own individual lives. He devoted much of his adult life to the recovery community. Kevin would take calls and texts at all hours of the day and night from people looking for a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on. He never turned anyone away who needed help.
Kevin has a tender heart and is one of the kindest and most genuine souls you will ever encounter. His tenderness and authenticity gave people the courage to trust and rely on him for help and support.
Kevin loved the outdoors—especially hunting and shooting with his family. Above all, family was the most precious gift in Kevin's life. He loved his Mom and Dad, his grandparents, his siblings, nieces and nephew, aunts and uncles, and his myriad of friends.
Kevin has been a bright light to us all. Though burdened at times by physical pain and personal trials, Kevin's light never stopped shining on all of us. His passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of all who love him. We take solace and feel peace in knowing Kevin's light can now shine even more brilliantly and warm the souls of friends and loved ones who have welcomed him home. We pray that the hole in our hearts will be filled, little by little, by sweet memories of Kevin, and the certainty that we will be able to laugh with him again soon.
Kevin's earthly life was a gift to each of us that knew him. May we honor him by following his example of service, laughter and love.
