IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kimberly Cozette
Macdonald
July 8, 1969 – January 12, 2024
Kimberly Cozette Macdonald completed her life journey here on earth and was called home to her Heavenly Father on January 12, 2024. She was 54 years old. She was born on July 8, 1969, to her parents Stanley R. and Susan D. Macdonald in Springville, Utah.
Kim was as unique as her middle name. Her life can be summed up in a couple of words. Service and Love.
Kim spent 20 years of her adult life working for the Provo school district as an advocate and aide to the disabled. She adored her "kids" and they adored her. Kim was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served an honorable mission to the Louisville Kentucky mission from 1990-1991. She loved our Savior and savored her missionary experiences.
Kim had a passion for children and was a true pied piper for them. She served in many callings for her faith but her favorite ones were always with the children in the primary. Children wanted to be around her. She served them with love and kindness.
Always Emulating our Saviors example outlined in the scriptures. Kim was always the first to forgive and continue serving. In addition to all her work, church, and personal duties, Kim also selflessly gave up her time and talents to care for her youngest Brother Varun, who was afflicted with cerebral palsy and adopted when Kim was 15 years old. She fiercely protected him, cared for him, and was his best friend. Their bond was visible, palpable, and eternal. She was always giving up something so that Varun was able to flourish in life. Kim was the glue for the Macdonald family.
Always sacrificing for the betterment of the family. Always present. Always loving. Always serving. The sting of Her sudden loss will be felt by many. None more than those who she loved the most.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan D Macdonald her brother, Varun S. Macdonald and Nephew Braeden J Macdonald.
She is survived by her Father Stanley R and her two siblings Troy R Macdonald (Priya) and Tracilyn Ortega, along with 2 nieces, 7 nephews, 1 great nephew and 2 great nieces.
As we mourn her loss, we are acutely aware that heaven has gained another angel. One that will continue to serve others and one day achieve all that our Father in heaven has promised to the faithful.
