Kirk was born September 13, 1978, in Peoria, Illinois. He is survived by his incredible wife Jamie, and their beautiful girls Gabrielle 16, Lilly 11, Sadie 9, and Stefano 16.  He is also survived by his mother Carolyn Lawson and his siblings, Todd, Shawn, John, Lance, Jason, Amber, Jared, Sherene, Brad and Shayne. Preceded in death by his father Gary Lawson, and his brother Tim. Kirk was a lover and a fighter.  He loved to BBQ, fish, watch his favorite sports teams and coach his daughter's softball teams.  He gave so much of himself and was always generous to a fault. He never met a stranger that he wouldn't help, and he is remembered by many as a big teddy bear.  Kirk was always quick to protect his loved ones and never let anyone intimidate him.  He met his wife Jamie when he was 21 years old.  Best decision he ever made was asking her to marry him.  They loved each other through all the tough times and he will be sorely missed.  His kids were a big part of his life and he loved them and would always be the first to say how his kids and wife were his whole world. We all wish that Kirk would have been able to stay and help continue to raise his beautiful girls alongside his wife and hope he knows he leaves behind a large vacancy in the hearts of many. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m, Thursday October 11, 2018, Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem. Interment will be in Orem City Cemetery.
