Leland Eugene Olson (Geneo), left us December 30, 2021 at his home in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was born in Provo, Utah on October 31, 1939 to Elmo Eugene and Maythel Ruh Olson. He attended Provo Schools, graduating from UVU with a degree in Electronics. Everyone he met was his friend. He was always available to his children and friends whenever they needed him. He married Marsha Hutchinson in 1972; two sons joined the family, Richard Eugene Olson of Cadillac, Michigan, and Rodney Olsen of Orem. They later divorced. He married Patti Crane Leftwich on October 3, 1991 and gained one daughter, Deena Lab of Sittee, Belize. He loved the round table meetings at Callies Cafe where "All the World's problems are solved," He loved motorcycles, and with his talents he built a 3-wheeled motorcycle out of a volkswagen. We had great trips to Lake Powell and the Mountain Man Rendezvous with our treasured friends. Geneo is survived by his loving wife Patti; 2 sons, 1 daughter, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Roberta Anderson of St. George, Utah; and more friends than can be counted. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dennis (Wild Bill), and 2 great grandsons. He will be greatly missed by all. At Geneo's wish, there will not be any services.
