In Feb 1969 he was released from reserve duty and recommended for reenlistment with honorable discharge.
Les spent many of his years working proudly as a professional truck driver. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, Opera music, coffee while playing solitaire in the early morning hours, watching movies, trips to Mesquite, but most of all he enjoyed his grandkids, and loved his family. He had a tough demeanor but beneath that was someone who felt things deeply and close to his heart. Because of this he had a profound way of influencing and touching peoples lives in many ways. We will forever hold a place in our hearts for him.
