Linda Batty finished her journey on this Earth on July 19, 2018 the same place she began 69 years ago on February 24, 1949, in Provo, Utah. Linda was born Linda Lou Peterson to Sherman and Lucille Peterson. She married Joseph C. Batty on February 28, 1975. They were sealed for Time and Eternity on August 4, 1984. They lived in Texas, Colorado, Hawaii, and Alabama while Joe was in the Army. 10 years after Joe was discharged from the Army they moved back to Utah to be with family. Linda was blessed to be reunited with her oldest daughters, Amelia and Adrianne, after 21 and 18 years of separation. Linda is survived by her husband, Joe (Orem, UT), her sister, Kaye (Provo, UT), children Steven (Rebecca) Batty (Lehi, UT), Amelia Kvamme (North Ogden, UT), Terena (Steve) Romero (Orem, UT), Adrianne Harvey (Phoenix, AZ), Amanda Batty (Provo, UT), Joseph (Connilyn) Batty (Sunset, UT), grandkids Terrilyn (TJ), Delsa (Marcelo), Stan, Sean, Steven, Rachelle, and Brayden, and many cousins, nephews and nieces. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Leslie and Steve, brothers-in-law Dave, Claude, and George, son-in-law Terry, sister-in-law Clairene. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 28, 2018 at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home with a viewing from 10:00-11:45 AM and the Celebration at 12:00. The family wishes to say thank you to all the staff at Provo Rehabilitation and Nursing in Provo, UT for all the care given to Linda over the last 4 years.
