Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Lynn Davis Larson, of Orem, UT; her three daughters, Lisa Ann Larson Shearman (Vince) of Chandler, AZ; Heather Lynnette Larson Ekstrom (Tipton) of Orem, UT; and Rachel Larson Echols (Kyle) of Loveland, OH; her siblings Arthur Alton Kiesel (Loene), Alta LeAnn Kiesel, Callie Ann Christine Kiesel Lansdell (Ron), John Elliott Kiesel, and Nila Cecelia Kiesel Salerno (Kirk) as well as four grandchildren: Adam Andrew Ekstrom, Timothy Davis Ekstrom, Kayla Rachel Echols, and Ryan Kyle Echols. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffry Lynn Larson; her parents Alton Fred Kiesel and Nila Durfee Kiesel; and her siblings Jane Marie Kiesel, Lora Larrainne Kiesel, Sarah Jane Kiesel, and Fred George Kiesel. Linda was born on February 26, 1946 in Salina, UT and spent her childhood in Manti, UT. Although she grew up in humble circumstances, she had loving parents and made many wonderful memories playing with her brother Arthur, who was her best friend, as well as her other siblings, and her cousins and friends.  Linda loved to go fishing, hiking, and to ride bikes with Arthur. She enjoyed being outside and had an appreciation for nature and animals. Linda excelled in academics. She was the valedictorian in junior high school and graduated from Manti High School in 1964 with an accounting scholarship to attend the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, UT. After graduating from LDS Business College, she got another scholarship to attend Brigham Young University where she majored in art. During her first semester at BYU, she met a handsome young returned missionary named Lynn Larson. They were married in the Logan, UT temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, on May 3, 1966. Linda loved to garden. She had a beautiful rose garden and enjoyed planting pansies and keeping African violets indoors year-round. She was a talented seamstress and cook, and she generously shared her many talents with her family and those around her. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony. She served in many callings and spent a large portion of her life in service to those who had already passed on by doing their family history and submitting their names to the temple for ordinance work. She specialized in Scandinavian family history research and could read old Danish and Swedish documents. She was a loving and patient mother, a devoted wife, a caring friend, and a compassionate daughter, as she lovingly spent many months caring for her own aged mother.
