Lora Waite Johnson

Lehi, Utah—Lora Waite Johnson, 47, of Lehi, Utah, Passed away on April 14th, 2025, at her house in Lehi, where she resided with her loving spouse, Zane Johnson, Father-In-Law Nolan Johnson, and beautiful children, Elora Downey, Zane K, Lyssa, Elexa, and her autistic son Zaylan Johnson.

Lora was born on February 17th, 1978, in New Mexico on Holloman Air Force Base to Leileen and Mitchel Waite. She was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As her father was in the Air Force, she moved to multiple states but mainly resided in Colorado and Arizona throughout her childhood. She attended Chandler High School and graduated in 1996. She went on to study Vet Assisting and later got a job in that field. She then moved to her final residency in Utah in 2006. She moved from Alpine, Utah, to Lehi, Utah, a few months later.

Lora had a fulfilling and wide-ranging career, ending as a cashier at Lee's RoundUp gas station for 3+ years. She was deeply loved by all who came in, and many people frequently visited just to see her warm smile. Later in her life, she started painting and making art, which she had planned to sell but never got to. Before that, she had many other professions, including vet assisting, caregiving, and being a lab tech at IM Flash Technologies.

Lora married Zane on October 9th, 2008. Together, they shared almost 17 years of love and companionship throughout their marriage. They had 5 wonderful kids and lived out the rest of their lives raising them. She was a devoted wife and nurturing mother who people always adored and looked up to. Throughout her life, she took in multiple nieces and nephews and cared for them. She assisted in raising them throughout their lives and became a mother figure to them all.

Lora was selfless and always put others before herself. She enjoyed making others smile and feel better whenever they needed it. Anyone who needed advice or a little extra love would come to her. She was passionate and caring, always leaving a positive impact on everyone she came in contact with, no matter who they were.

Lora was passionate and interested in the paranormal, always asking questions and researching about it. That all arose from her father who was an Air Force veteran and later a bigfoot hunter, together they shared interests in the supernatural and Lora carried that on even after her father had passed.

Lora is survived by her husband Zane N Johnson; Zane K Johnson, Elora Downey, Lyssa, Elexa, and Zaylan Johnson; David Waite, Rachel Izatt, Leileen Waite, and was preceded in death by Kandi Johnson and Mitchel Waite.
