Louise was born in Rockvale, Colorado and grew up in Grand County, UT. She loved the whole Moab area. She loved how even in the winter the sky would stay such a bright blue and she could always feel the sun shining on her face. Our parents met at a dance when our dad walked in wearing a leather jacket and asked her to dance. Hours before her high school graduation they were married in Bob's mother's front room. Their love could move mountains. Bob and Louise had their children, Christie and Bob Jr., while living in Moab. After moving to Orem Shelle joined the little family. Mom loved being a mother and many of the neighborhood kids through the years could tell you they felt the motherly love from her while around her. Mom felt blessed watching her children have children and will forever be the "World's Best Grandma." Her home was the hub for cousin sleepovers, weary travelers and friends of the family stopping for some lunch or just a safe haven with an always open door. She created a home that was always smelling of delicious goodies, a place where you could be yourself or even the X on a treasure map. Apart from marrying our dad our mom's next best decision was to join the Church. Over the years she held many callings but the unofficial acts of service are what everyone mentions they remember most. She was always aware of the needs of her fellow ward members and neighbors. "Because I have been given much I too shall give," was a simple phrase she quietly lived by. The gospel is in her. The decisions she's made throughout her life were engrained deeply within her heart and soul. You could feel her testimony and love for her savior anytime you got near her. She often gave meaningful cards and letters to people with a gift or a goodie but it was never just a simple card, for you always got a sweet message about how great you are as a person and a bit of her testimony. Our mom has been reunited with our father, Robert Charles Burr, the love of her life. Their reunion is what gives us the strength to keep going during what has been the greatest loss of our lives. Our mom is also with her babies that never survived here on earth, with her many animals she loved so immensely as well as her Dad, Mom, brother and beloved granddaughter Tiffany. She is survived by her 3 children, Christie Ann Fackrell (Brent), Robert Charles Burr Jr. (Joyce), Shelle Louise Lindsay (Jeff), her 12 grandchildren, and her 25 great grandchildren. Graveside service to be held Monday December 7, 2020 at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N 800 E Orem, UT at 1:00 PM. A private family viewing prior to service Monday December 7, 2020, 11:30-12:30 at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E 800 N Orem, UT. Condolences and memories may be shared online with family at www.walkersanderson.com In lieu of flowers our mom would want you to do a kind act of service for your neighbor.
