Dr. Lucia Genoveva Scott Altamirano September 2, 1942 - March 7, 2018 Our beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother,"Bela" Dr. Lucia Genoveva Scott Altamirano, was reunited with her late parents and sister on the morning of March 7, 2018 in her home in Orem, UT. She was born on September 2, 1942 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. While in medical school she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She married her sweetheart Hugo in Cordoba, Argentina in 1972. They moved to the United States and started their new life. Lucy had a powerful testimony of the gospel and spent her life serving others spiritually through her callings in the church, and physically, through her passion of practicing medicine. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved serving in the temple more than anything. She is survived by her husband Hugo G. Altamirano and children: Virginia Jimenez, Dan (Brooke), Dave (Jenny), Becky, and grandchildren: Gabriela, Cristina, Ethan, Alex, Allie, Sergio, Will, and Luke. She will be greatly missed by many.
