Lucy Elaine Vincent Simons passed away on Monday February 12, 2018 in Orem, Utah after a courageous fight with cancer. Lucy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 14, 1930 to Albert H. and Lucy L. Vincent. She married Robert D. Simons in 1949. They enjoyed 54 years of a wonderful marriage. They loved traveling to Arizona, Mexico, California and Yellowstone. Lucy loved her family and she always put her husband and children first. Lucy worked at Albertsons for 20 years. Lucy is survived by her children, Carolyn Davis, Lucy Cutler, Sharlene Salzman, Sheryl Cowley, Robert Simons, 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She came from a family of seven brothers and one sister. Lucy is survived by siblings Glen Vincent, Albert Vincent and Carol Vincent Brotherson. She is preceded in death by her husband, the love to her life Robert D Simons. We want to give special thanks for the kindness and compassion to everyone at the Beehive House in Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Sharon 2nd Ward, 641 South 400 East, Orem, Utah. Prior to the service a viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Orem City Cemetery, 152 North 800 East, Orem.
