Mark D. Bales (68) peacefully passed away on February 18, 2025. Mark was born on August 30, 1956, to Hubert and Marilyn Bales in Rock Island, Illinois. He and his family moved to Utah in 1963. Where Mark married Ruthann Frazier in 1975. They remained married for 38 years. Although divorced they remained great friends until his death.

Mark loved camping, driving his dune buggy, riding his Harley, and jeeping with his family and friends. Mark was a 'Jack of all trades' and took pride in his work.

Mark is survived by his children Tiffany and Darrin Haun, Mark and Rachel Bales, and grandchildren Madisson(Dexter), Kaiden, Abby(Taylon), Jaxon, and Brianne. Great grandchildren Saylor and Ridge. Mark's brothers and sister Mike(Randi), Kevin(Rhonda), Kim(Marcia), Scott(Brenda), and Marianne(Joseph), and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Marilyn Bales.

Services will be held this Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home. We will have an open house viewing with 20 minutes dedicated to an open mic for guests to say a few words.

At Mark Sr.'s request, he will be cremated with no graveside service.
