MARK LEE TERPENNING (Grandpa, Gramps, and PaPa) age 65 passed away peacefully on June 23, 2019 at Utah Valley Hospital due to complications of Leukemia. MARK was born April 26, 1954 at CFB Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. He is the second child of Marion L. Terpenning and Jacqueline D. Gates. MARK is predeceased by his parents and younger sister Rory Lynn Kirkland. MARK is survived by his older sister Leesa Mae Klatte. MARK began his Military Career in the USNavy at 17 years old as an E-1. He served in 3 wars and retired after 27 years as a Chief Warrant Officer. He then challenged the US Highways as a Truck Driver. Our Father met and married Terisa Suzanne Rosenquist in 1981 in San Diego CA, Dad is survived by his wife and their 5 children, Mark Patrick Terpenning (Jessica), Nichole Suzanne Berge (Kurt), Jayson Lee Terpenning (Melissa), Felicia Raelee Sheridan (Steven), and Rosezalee Olga Halladay (Brock), 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and the many others that were welcomed into the family along the way. We will remember our Dad as a hero, always sacrificing his time, body and resources for whoever was in need. Dad threw out his net of care and protection that spread over all and any he came into contact with from his children to strangers. He never held back any of himself but gave freely no matter what it might cost him. Being Republican, President Trump, Minnesota Vikings, the US flag, BBQs, beer and all things American were his passions. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Services will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 17111 Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale City, UT 84065, in the Chapel. Graveside Service directly following.
