Obituary

Marlis "Marti" Letha Webster passed away on Saturday May 30,2020 in Orem, UT. She was born March 22, 1949 to Harold and Urba Stake in Minot, North Dakota. Her parents and brother preceded her in death and they are surely rejoicing with their reunion in Heaven. She leaves behind a sister Marcie Williams (Stake), 2 Daughters – Cameo Godsey (Webster), Autumn Blodgett (Webster), 2 son-in-law's and 7 grandchildren. Marti worked hard to establish herself as a well-known mortgage professional in Washington State. She was passionate about helping others get into homes and teaching them. More than mortgage she had a passion for crafting, sewing, friends and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Once she was no longer to work, she enjoyed making sure she had craft time with her 7 grandchildren individually. Marti delighted in knowing what each grandchild was up to and ultimately lived vicariously through friends and family's adventures. She always wanted pictures and details (didn't want one anything left out!) of the adventures. This would bring her much happiness when she was no longer able to participate. Marti had a hard battle with multiple illness' and we know she is now free of all her ailments. We will respect her wishes not to have a large funeral and instead have a small celebration of life when the timing is right. She wished that her grandchildren would also continue to help with the family history work, and they are thoroughly excited to fulfill this wish. Her legacy will live on with the many talents she has passed on to Cameo, Autumn and generations to come.
