Mary Helena Hunt Knowles graduated from this mortal life on December 2, 2017 into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. A joyous reunion with her sweetheart William James Knowles, beloved parents David and Zelma Hunt, Sister Maretta Jones and granddaughter Jessica Perkins awaited her. Mary was born to goodly parents on July 21, 1936 in Baker City Oregon. She resided in Oregon, California and New Mexico before settling in Heber City, and Lindon Utah. Her years with her eternal companion Jim were spent on adventure after adventure. They traveled around the world, raised a family and were best when they were together. The love they had for each other was evident to all who knew them. Her fierce love for her family was unmatched and they were considered her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her seven children, Marianne F.G. Heaps (David), Dr. Sandra Knowles, Lynn Morris (Kevin), David Knowles (Kellie), Jeffrey Knowles, Raleigh Knowles (Alice), Jennifer Knowles Willis,. Her devotion to our Savior allowed her to live a life full of grace and service. Her unwavering faith was an example to her family as she served in the LDS Church throughout her life. Her love of music was contagious and she instilled that love in her children and grandchildren. Her profound love of her twenty three grandchildren was unprecedented and she was equally adored by them. Her influence on those around her was significant; she was loved by many and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings David Hunt, Don Hunt and Marjorie Kearns, and many nieces and nephews. Family, Friends and Neighbors are invited to a gathering to celebrate her life on Saturday December 9, 2017 at the LDS church building at 670 E. 800 N. in Orem Utah. A viewing will be held from 9-10:30 with the funeral following at 11:00. The graveside will follow the funeral at the cemetery in Heber City Utah.
