Erickson, May 11, 1956 in the Manti LDS Temple. MaryLn attended schools in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School. She enjoyed all crafts; needlepoint, croqueting quilting and sewing just to name a few. MaryLn often used these skills to bless the lives of others making countless quilts for children at Primary Children's Hospital as well as for gifts to family and friends. She made beautiful quilts treasured by each of her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren too. MaryLn was skilled in her craft and enjoyed entering local contests and state fairs, often winning awards. MaryLn worked at Brigham Young University in the Registrar's Office and was a diehard BYU fan! She enjoyed chatting with the student athletes as they came into her office and received many of their autographs. MaryLn would watch and follow all Cougar sports and enjoyed having season tickets for BYU football and basketball. In her later years, when she could no longer attend the games, she delighted in giving them away for others to enjoy. MaryLn enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. In her younger years they always had a large garden and she bottled the food they harvested. She took pride in her garden and all of her fruit trees. MaryLn was constantly sharing her harvest with family, neighbors and friends. She also loved roses and her rose garden was exquisite. MarLyn was a collector, she loved to collect dolls, she collected spoons, she collected coins, and she collected nativities. If she decided to collect something she didn't just randomly collect them she loved doing it. Each piece had a story, she could tell you who gave it to her or where it came from they all held a special meaning. MaryLn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many leadership callings. She also was very active with genealogical research and spent thousands of hours serving in the LDS Extraction Program.
