I can imagine the wonderful reunion my father is having with our mother. They are together again and reunited. Maugatuli Poasa Tuinei left this mortal existence on December 16, 2018. He missed his wife too much. Siaa Tuala Salima Tuinei passed away 5 days prior on December 11, 2018. They both passed away in Provo. His parents are Taliilaglevaioaopo Alofipo and Poasa Manu Tuinei. He was born in Faleniu American Samoa on November 25, 1935. His siblings who preceded him in death are Ovala Tuinei, Siitia Tuinei, Patisepa Pe'i, Kalosi Manu Tuinei, Ta'aitulagi Tuinei Sete Moa. His surviving siblings are Tauivi Tuinei and Siitia Tuinei II. He is also survived by his children Angieline Tuia, Charlene Fuimaono, Solovine TauMotoi Tuinei, Crystal (Tina) Sione, Ronald Maugatuli Key-Tuinei, and Samau Stowers. He is also survived by his grandchildren Spencer Tuia, Trent Tuia, Shylette Tuia-Tailele, Manu Tuia, Tatianna Tua, Pasepa Tuineau, Johnny Tuineau, Michelle Tuineau, Malia Tuineau, Taylor Stowers, Devin Stowers, Hope Stowers, Hyrum Stowers, Samau Stowers Jr., Karifi Taula, Tiara Key, Talia Key, Tamatoa Key. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Paul Tuia Tailele, Moana Tailele, Pierre Tailele, Maugatuli Tailele, and Mamaluotau Adams. Maugatuli served in the Navy and Army reserves. He worked at the Long Beach Naval shipyard for many years as a pipefitter. He retired in 1994. Dad loved his parents and siblings. He helped them through out his life and brought them to the states. He helped some of his siblings financially. He also loved travelling to visit them. He loved to fish, to recycle and most of all to be with his family, grandkids and great grandkids. He was married to our mother for 54 years and he will be with her forever. His and his wife will have their services on December 21, 2018 at the Provo 10 th ward chapel on 1625 Slate Canyon Dr, Provo. The family service will be from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. The public viewing will be from 12:30 pm- 1:10 pm. Public funeral services will begin at 1:30pm. Interment will be in the Provo Cemetery for both he and his wife.
