Maurine Lunceford Jolley McQuivey 1939 - 2017 Our beautiful and loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Maurine Lunceford Jolley McQuivey age 78 passed away in the early morning hours on Sept 28th. . Born to Wilford Horace and Ida Chipman Lunceford on April 11, 1939 in Provo, UT. She was the second of four children. They were raised in Edgemont Utah. Maurine received her education from Page Elementary, Lincoln Jr High and Lincoln High School. She married Kent Leon Jolley on April 5th, 1956. Together they had one son and two daughters. They later divorced and she married Jack S McQuivey on November 6, 1995. Besides being a wonderful mother and homemaker, she also held positions as a Bookkeeper, Hotel Concierge and Travel guide. She later attended cosmetology school in Provo where she received her Master Esthetician/Electrologist Degree and other awards in her field. She was employed at Bon Losee where she enjoyed working with everyone and later continued to work out of her home. She had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. She would say her best accomplishment was her family. Her favorite times were when they were all together. Her compliments were plentiful. Although she is not with us her fun spirit and memory with be with us forever. Maurine is survived by her husband Jack S. McQuivey, Sisters Naomi (Steve) Bragg, Claudia (Rodger) Sorensen, Children Andy K. Jolley, Laurie (David) Birrell and Marsha (Ty) Harding, Brad McQuivey and Brandon McQuivey and 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Darrell and sister in law (Lawana) Lunceford and two grandchildren. We give special thanks to our sweet mom's caregivers from Stonehenge. "LOVE YOUUUUUUU." Till we meet again. Funeral Service will be held Friday October 6, 2017 11:00 AM at the Aspen Ward Chapel, 1485 N 800 W, Orem, UT.
