Michael John Mendenhall passed away on December 16, 2022, in a tragic motor vehicle accident on the Mountain View Corridor in Herriman, Utah. Michael was born in Provo, Utah on July 25, 1993, and passed away at the age of 29. He is survived by his loving parents Barbara and Preston Miner, Richard and Deborah Mendenhall, and siblings: Jennifer, Alex, Jessica, Jacob, Stephanie, and Sara. Michael was a great man, and a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Michael was a companion to those who needed him. He was a kind and giving friend to all who knew him. Michael would go to great lengths to help those that were dear to him. He would give the shirt off his back to help those he loved. He had a special relationship with so many different people.

Michael was a loving father figure to 3 children he met 8 years ago, he loved them more than life itself, and considered them his very own.

Michael's legacy will live on in the real world and in the digital realm. He was a brilliant software engineer for Dell and excelled in his technical abilities and intelligence.

Michael spent his life pursuing his passions of motorcycles, four-wheelers, and fast cars from a very young age. He loved mechanics and in his spare time enjoyed tinkering on his cars and his motorcycles.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Mortuary, 646 E. 800 N. Orem, Utah.

A viewing and funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building, 670 E. 800 N. Orem, Utah, on Saturday, January 7, 2023. The viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Following the funeral services Michael will be buried at Eastlawn Memorial Hills, 4800 N. 650 E. Provo Utah, alongside his loving grandparents from both the Mendenhall and Bawden families.
