His legacy extends to his cherished 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, each of whom he loved and treasured. He is also survived by his brothers Earl William DeLeeuw and Dolan Jay DeLeeuw. Milton worked for Provo City for 25 years, 17 of those years as the sexton for the Provo City Cemetery. His commitment to maintaining the grounds was impeccable, and he had unwavering compassion and attention to detail.
For many years, he brought the magic of the Christmas season to life for countless children and families. He embodied the spirit of joy, generosity, and cheer. Milton brought smiles and laughter to the faces of those he visited, creating lasting memories.
In addition to serving his family, he spent his life in the service of his fellow man. He served two full-time missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Belgium, Netherlands mission. The first time as a young man, the second, with his wife, Renae. He served the Lord diligently throughout his life by faithfully holding countless church callings.
When he wasn't working, he loved being outdoors- hunting, fishing, gardening, riding horses, camping, and four wheeling.
