It is with extreme sadness that we announce the tragic passing of mother, sister, aunt and friend, Myra "Jill" Broadhead Drake. She perished in the fire of her Spanish Fork home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Jill was born on May 2, 1955 to Mike and Billie Broadhead in Heber, Utah. Jill graduated from Orem High School in 1973. Alongside with her family, Jill worked in her parent's restaurant, The Chalet, for many years. Jill also worked as a care-aide at a rest home where she lovingly cared for the elderly. Jill also worked at Signetics. On June 13, 1998 Jill married Paul Drake. They later divorced. They had one son together, Zack. After she gave birth to Zack, she stayed home to take care of him.

Jill was an amazing baker. Her family always loved to see what yummy dish she would bring to family get togethers. Jill was also gifted behind the sewing machine. She especially loved to quilt. She had many of her beautiful quilts displayed in her home. Jill's greatest love was for her son, Zack. He truly filled her life with much love and happiness.

Jill will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Jill, we love you! We miss you! May you bake, sew and laugh with the angels, until we meet again.

Jill is survived by son, Zackary Myron Drake (21), sisters, Linda Sanders, Paula (Marcel) Broadhead Mackell, and Myke Anne (Rick) Hurst.

Jill was preceded in death by her father, Myron "Mike" Broadhead, her mother, Wilma "Billie" Wright Broadhead and her infant sister Patty Broadhead.

There will be a Celebration of Life, honoring Jill, on April 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. It will be held at the Hillcrest LDS Stake Center, 1450 S. 800 E. Orem, Utah.

Interment at the Heber City Cemetery.

The family is overwhelmed by the great bravery, skill, care and countless hours given by the firefighters and police officers at the scene. We are so grateful to them for tirelessly working in behalf of our family and Jill.
