Our beloved mother, Nona Peery Hudson, passed peacefully in her sleep on March 13, 2022, just short of her 91st birthday. Mom was born April 18, 1931 in Spring Lake, UT to Glen Woodson Peery and Myrtle Hancock Peery. She joined one older brother, Sheldon Peery, whom she adored. She attended first grade at the Spring Lake, Utah elementary school but received most of her education in the schools at Eureka, Utah and graduated from Tintic High School. One week after graduating from high school she married the love of her life, Don Allen Hudson. Throughout their marriage dad called mom "my little bride". She and dad raised their four children in Orem, Utah. They were married for 58 years before dad's passing in 2007. Mom was a devoted wife, homemaker and mother. She will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Randy (Merrie) Hudson, Jo (Darcy) Mott, Nancy (Robert) Toone, and Lonnie Hudson. Her greatest joys in life were her family, a good book and she loved traveling. She and dad enjoyed many traveling adventures and also spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona with their friends. She will be missed by her children, 11 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and one grandson, Jake Hudson. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held Monday, April 18th at 1:00 p.m. at the Orem City Cemetery. Special thanks to The Charleston at Cedar Hills for their loving care of our mother.
