IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Louisa
Mcbrayer
May 15, 1951 – September 13, 2022
Patricia Louisa McBrayer
Mom was born in Amityville, New York on May 15, 1951, the fourth of nine children to Garth and Connie Pehrson, and passed away on September 13, 2022 in Saratoga Springs, Utah. She grew up loving music and was an exceptional pianist, organist, and vocalist. In her younger years, she was a member of the Grand Land Singers. It was during this time, when the group was singing at a fireside, she first met Carl McBrayer. While it wasn't love at first sight for her, it was for him, and he eventually won her over. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on April 12, 1974. Mom and Dad decided early on that they wanted a big family and were blessed with seven children, all of whom they loved very much. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings, many of them centered around her amazing musical talent. Most of all, she loved serving in the temple and had a strong testimony of temple work.
On August 9, 2022, her eternal companion passed away, leaving Mom feeling lonely and broken- hearted. While we would have chosen for her to be with us longer, we know that she is happy and that she and Dad are together again.
Pattie is survived by six of her seven children and their spouses: Emilee, Joe (Megan), Hyrum (Cheryl), Mary (Jake), Susan (Ammon), and Andrew; her 14 Grandchildren: Corinne and Connor, Sydney, Preston, Logan, Banyon, Kate, Anna, Avery, Sarah, Hailey, Asher, Buster, and Olivia; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Hazel and Bennett, and numerous other family members who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her infant daughter Sarah, her parents, and a sister.
Funeral services will be on Monday, September 19, 2022, in the Lexington Green Ward Building, 4105 E. Smith Ranch Rd., Eagle Mountain. Public viewing will begin at 9:30am with the funeral immediately following at 10am.
We are asking that in lieu of flowers, friends and family consider giving a monetary donation to help with funeral/burial expenses.
