Phillip H. Young was born July 27, 1942 in Provo, Utah to Lawrence H. Young and Thelma Rudy Young. He passed away on June 21, 2024 at his home in Orem, Utah. Family that has gone before him include his sister Evelyn Brerton, sister Lois Mills, brother Edwin Young, son Ryan Lane Young, son Ren Lee Young, granddaughter Amber Rachelle Young, and daughter-in-law Mandy Sue Young. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Kathleen Weight Young, son Rodney Lawrence Young, daughter Ronda Lynn Young, son Reo Lane Young, sister Janis Kelly, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Phil lived a very full and happy life. He loved and adored his family very much. He loved jeeping, hunting, and fishing. He was the rock of his family and will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He was such a giver and would do anything for anybody. He had a heart of gold. His wife and children always came first and were the light of his life. We look forward to the day we're all together again.
