Rachael Christian, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2024. She was born in Denver, Colorado on September 27, 1960. She was the daughter of Kenneth Crider and Marilyn Sumner Crider.

Rachael was raised in Colorado, Arizona and California and graduated from American Fork High School in Utah. After graduating from high school, she moved to Ogden and worked for Wasatch Mental Health until her retirement.

Rachael joined the Glory to God Old Catholic church to become a nun and devout Christian. She was instrumental in many aspects for the church, including writing the weekly newsletter, coordinating church events and celebrations.

Rachael was such a pleasure to be around. She was so kind, polite, and knowledgeable. She remembered every birthday. She was also very sharp and would read anything she could get her hands on.

She is survived by her dear friend (Sr. Ann Rowe) ,her sister and brother-in-law (Kathy and Dan Peck), a niece (Haley) and 2 nephews (Lon and Cole) who adored her. She also was a great aunt to Lyric, Ollie, Lila and Kai that she loved to spoil. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A memorial will be held in her honor at The Glory of God Old Catholic Church, 375 Harrison Blvd. Ogden, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00am.
