Randy J. Croft of Springville, UT passed away February 10, 2018 after a brief illness. Randy was born on November 15, 1949 in Provo, Utah to John D. and Mae (Taysom) Croft, the youngest of 3 and their only son. He graduated from Provo High School and attended Ricks College. Randy worked for 26 years at Geneva Steel as a forklift operator and then as a welder, including as Shift Coordinator/Lead in the railroad car repair shop. Randy enjoyed travel. He especially loved Europe and the energy and diversity of New York City. He loved reading, literature, music and Nascar. Randy was an amateur poet and was proud to have received multiple World of Poetry awards during his life. He is survived by his sister, Dee Ann (Robert H.) Huish, and his 5 nieces and nephews. We will miss his clever sense of humor and his insightful opinions. He is also survived by many grand-nieces and nephews, who he called "his kids", and by Cat. He loved his grand-nieces and nephews and treasured memories of walks around the neighborhood to see the horses with their "Uncle Wanny". Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his older sister, Karen Glickman. A viewing and brief service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 1pm to 2pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E 800 N, Orem, Utah.
