Richard Lee Crooks 1930-2018 Santaquin, Utah - Our beloved Dad, Grandfather and friend passed away September 10, 2018 in Santaquin, Utah.  He was born September 6, 1930 in Antioch, California to Alexis and Thelma Deon Crooks. He is survived by his children: Connie Geniel Crooks and Alexis Crooks, his stepchildren: Diane Goodson, Teresa Shepherd, Melanie Flygare and Sherrie Astleford and many grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents Alexis and Thelma Crooks, brother Kenneth Crooks, wife Marjorie Crooks, their baby Richard Crooks Jr. He is also proceeded in death by his latest wife Mary Crooks and stepson Kevin Sweatfield. Richard was very patriotic. He served five years in the military. He was a member of The American Legion in the Santaquin Post where he dedicated and volunteered a lot of his time. Richard especially loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding his 4 wheeler in the mountains with the guys. He loved all animals, he loved horses but he really loved his dogs. He was very generous and was always there to help others whenever they were in need.  He loved spending time with family and friends. Richard will be missed by everyone. A viewing will be held from 9am-11am on Monday September 17, 2018 at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 85 East 300 South, Provo. Graveside services will follow at the East Lawn cemetery in Provo.
