It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Harold Falk, who peacefully departed this world on September 11th, 2023 in Provo, Utah. Bob was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a cherished friend to many. His warmth, joviality, and generous nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was born on December 28th, 1936 in Edgerton, Wisconsin, the youngest son of Agnes Marie and Harold Charles Falk.
Bob attended General Motors Institute but left before graduating to care for his father and his family farm. Bob later worked for IBM. Bob married Janet Kotwitz on January 18th, 1958. Bob and Jan were blessed with 27 years of marriage and two children, Susan Kimberly (Steve) Clark (1960) and Steven Robert Falk (1965). Bob returned to farming for six years and later worked for Gibbs Manufacturing as a salesman. Bob was an avid and passionate traveler. He was the owner and operator of Uniglobe Travel in Janesville, Wisconsin and then later worked for Places to Go Travel in Nashville with his companion, Nadine Cloute, for many years. She continues to operate it to this day and the two enjoyed many years of travel and music shows together. One of Bob's favorite pastimes was to get in his car and drive. He would drive across the country several times a year visiting loved ones. He also enjoyed investments and connecting with people around the globe discussing ideas them. He was know to many as his online trading presence "mebob". His last career was as a business courier in the Bay Area driving medical equipment and specimens to their needed locations, which he took great pride in.
Bob developed his relationship with a higher power throughout his life. In his younger years he served actively in the Lutheran faith, and was a treasurer for many years. Bob was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by his daughter Susan in 1981 and after many years of investigating was baptized on July 23th, 2022 surrounded by friends and grandchildren. Bob is survived by his partner, Nadine, his grandchildren, Amber (David) Chen, Adam (Genevieve) Clark, Aaron (Jade) Clark, Austin (Chantelle) Clark, Autumn (Curtis Wigington) Clark, and Anne (Carter Norton) Clark, ten great-grandchildren, and many close friends. In passing, Bob is reunited with his parents, his older brother Charles Falk, his daughter Susan Clark, his son Steven Falk, his son-in-law Steve Clark, and his great-grandchildren Lianne Chen (Amber and David) and Daniel Clark (Aaron and Jade). A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on December 28th, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sharon East Stake Center, 2450 North 1060 East, Provo, Utah, followed by burial at East Lawn Memorial.
