Robert Steven Hatch age 73, passed away June 6th, 2022 born in Heber City Utah March 31st, 1949 to Robert K and Alice Pace Hatch. Spent most of his life in the Spanish Fork, Utah area. He was married to Matilda Tafoya for 4 years and they had 3 children Nicki, Steven Jr. and Thomas Hatch.
He supported his family as a locomotive crane operator in the transportation department at Geneva steel for 33 years after Geneva closed he attended UVSC where he received an associate degree in diesel mechanics. Happily divorced for 26 years he married his best friend and soul mate Linda Ann Naylor, they built a small Homestead up Spanish Fork Canyon where they raise goats and chickens, she preceded him in death on November 15th 2010.
His favorite pastimes were trapping and hunting most of which he was able to do in the canyon.
He loved all of his family with his whole heart and is survived by Daughter Nicki, son Steven Jr, brother Tom Hair, sisters Becky Hair Hansen and Annadee Hair, 10 plus grandchildren, 8 and Counting great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Leonard Dee Hair, his mother Alice Pace Hair, father Robert K Hatch, wife Linda Naylor Hatch, son Thomas Hatch, brother Allen Hair, sister Tami Hair Herman, and grandson Drake Warner.
There will be no formal services at this time. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be sent to PO Box 132, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
