Rosemarie Betty Dawn Peterson Gleave
We are saddened to share the passing of Rosemarie Betty Dawn Peterson Gleave, who was born on November 6, 1939 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and departed this world peacefully surrounded by family on December 29, 2025 in Maple Valley, Washington. Rosemarie leaves behind a legacy of unwavering kindness, love, and gratitude that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She was raised in Conrad, Hillspring, and Barnwell Canada. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Cardston Alberta Canada Temple. She attended Barnwell High School before moving with her family to Provo, UT in 1957 where she graduated from BYU High. She attended classes at Brigham Young University while going to high school.
She had 3 children from her first marriage. JaNae, Mike, and Scott. Rosemarie Married Michael M Gleave on December 17, 1971 in Provo, Utah gaining a new son Todd Gleave and a year later had their daughter Nicole. They raised 5 children through their years together.
In 1974, After her husband Mike joined the Army, they moved to Tacoma, Washington. This was the start of many years of moving for different military assignments. Their years in the military took them all over the world. From Washington state to Berlin Germany to Bremerhaven in Germany to South Carolina. They served as stake missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ as Latter-day Saints in the Maple Valley, Washington Stake. This service was something they cherished.
She is survived by her husband Michael M Gleave of 54 years, her Son Michael T. Jense and his wife Waree Jense, son Todd E. Gleave, son Scott E. Jense, daughter Nicole M Gleave Petersen and her husband Kevin Petersen. She has 15 Grandchildren and 18 Great-grandchildren.
