Obituary

Ryan Ray Brown, 57, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2018, in Orem, Utah, of a pulmonary embolism. Ryan was born in Midvale, Utah on August 27th,1960, to Ralph Ray and Margaret Christine (Mannion) Brown. Ryan married DeAnna Wing in Provo, Utah, and they have five beautiful children.   Ryan was an avid outdoors-man. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping and anything he could do to enjoy nature. He became involved with the Boy Scouts of America when his boys were old enough, so he could share his love of outdoor adventure with them and other scouts. Ryan enjoyed the challenges and opportunities of owning his own construction business. He was well-known for his unique creativity, design, and high-quality craftsmanship. Through his business, he was able to meet many new people who quickly became lifelong friends due to his infectious personality, amusing stories, and desire to always help those in need.  Family was very important to Ryan, and he loved and supported them in all their endeavors. He always made sure that he spent quality time with the family. Whether it was star gazing with his daughter, going on bike rides with his sons, or kayaking with the family, it was time he treasured. Another one of Ryan's passions was the game of soccer. From watching it on television, to coaching his teams on the field, soccer was truly a big part of his life.  He cherished the relationships that he developed with the players on his teams.  He cared for each of one of his players, always encouraging them to succeed on and off the field.  We will miss his love of animals, contagious laugh, fun and loving personality, family dance parties, special birthday songs and too many things to list. We love you Dad and we will miss you. Ryan leaves behind his wife DeAnna, and their children, Rachel Anne, Trevor Ryan, Connor Michael, and Griffin James, and his sister, Lynne Christine Trujillo. Ryan was preceded in death by his daughter Courtney, and his parents.  Viewings will be Wednesday, April 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Mortuary 646 E 800 N Orem, UT. and Thursday, April 19 from 11:30-12:30 a.m. at the LDS church at 450 E 2000 N in Orem. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. at the church under the direction of Walker Sanderson.
