IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra Limb
Horton
July 4, 1955 – January 12, 2026
Sandra Limb Horton, born to Della Marie Johnson Limb and Marvin J. Limb on July 4, 1955. A kind, creative and gentle soul who loved purple, earned her wings on January 12, 2026.
Above all else Sandy had an unwavering passion for angels. Her home was a sanctuary adorned with a collection that grew over decades. From intricate figurines paintings and cherished trinkets. Each piece was a testament to her profound belief in guardian spirits and the comfort they brought her. She often shared stories of their presence, finding solace and joy in their symbolism. Her collection is complete now that Sandy has her own wings. Sandy is now our "guardian angel."
Sandy enjoyed crafting especially for her grandkids. She had a remarkable talent for making quilts, cross stitching and other crafts. She had every craft available usually within reach. She always carried four to five bags at a time full of these things. She loved shopping for deals on anything that she thought someone would care about and could use.
Sandy acquired and collected many things over the years that she thought were special, even though she really valued these things she was willing to give them away to anyone who showed interest or would appreciate and love it.
As a life long learner Sandy attended schools in Payson. Sandy earned three degrees from UVSC (UVU) college showcasing her commitment to education and personal growth, her academic achievements were a testament to her passion for knowledge and her unwavering determination to excel.
Sandy was deeply committed to volunteering, dedicating her time and energy to the Red Cross. Her exceptional service earned her an award reflecting her selflessness and determination to helping others in their time of need. She also made thousands of humanitarian kits for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her volunteer work was a great source of pride and a fulfillment allowing her to make a tangible difference in her community.
Sandy has five children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins with four siblings and four stepbrothers. We are sure she was reunited with all of those who passed before.
Sandy will be deeply missed by her family and numerous friends. Her legacy of love, faith and simple kindness will forever resonate in our hearts. Loss gives us meaning to our existence because it reminds us how precious live is. Encourage someone who is grieving to have a thankful heart for knowing what they have lost, even if they passed away too soon.
Regrets, I am sure we have a few. We are grateful for the lessons learned through both the good and the bad times and the challenging times, we hold onto the love that transcends any past difficulties.
Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
Hayden, Christy, Bridger, Sinclair and Brooklynn & Dawson Dain; Chad & Stella Horton.
Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies in us while we live.
We have many angels to thank and send love to. Karma who is her sister that spent hours on the phone. Also, her best friend, Sandra & Renae who also spent hours on the phone. Her friend Amy who was her little angel on this earth and went above and beyond. And many more Angels too many to thank.
Dr. Mitch Holmes, Wendy "little angel" and many aids, to the front-line team, medical and support workers. Many thanks for all the care and thoughtfulness to those that need. All the support you provide to dying patients and their families.
Thank you for your dedication and selfless care for others. You are Angels who are there in our greatest time of need.
In honor, of Sandy please wear the color purple.
