Mrs. Sarlaben U Patel, our grandma, left this world peacefully on Wednesday evening, April 24 with her family beside her.   Sarlaben was a mother, a grandmother, and a great grandmother who reminded us of what life is filled with. In the 100 years she lived she graced everyone around her with love and happiness. We all recently had the pleasure to celebrate her 100 th birthday in February this year, which was not only joyous but a memorable event that we shall never forget.   Being the oldest of 3 siblings and having 6 children she has lead a pathway forging memorable events for everyone in the family. She began her life in India and eventually moved to Kenya, then UK and finally settled in America. She was a spiritual person at heart, strong willed and resilient to change. Our grandmother set a pathway of nurturing and caring for everyone that was around her, which not only strengthened but also brought the family together. She was the pillar that held us all together.   She lived long not only to see her own grandmother but also her great grandchildren; watching over four generations, leaving a lasting legacy of memories that we shall never forget in our hearts.   Our family is filled with sadness as well as wonderful memories of our grandma. She lived a full life leaving a legacy behind, but now is free from this world and in a better place.   With love to our grandma, her ever loving family.
