Shari Rae Quai

Dr. Shari Rae Linn Quai was born on the fourth of July 1982. She kept her spirit of celebration every day of her life and left an indelible mark. She passed on the twenty sixth of April after a courageous battle against cancer. Shari believed in the power of knowledge. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing at BYU and her CNRA from Westminster College where a lifelong dedication to medicine was instilled.

Once diagnosed with stage 4, colorectal cancer, she became an advocate for anyone with cancer and founded Aive Aesthetics and Wellness. At Aive, Shari believed and encouraged everyone to be healthy and beautiful. Shari had many challenges in her life and experienced each as a sacred opportunity to grow. This positive attribute drew people to her and kept them there.

Shari's greatest love is her family- her husband Josh and her children, Lily, Vienna, and McCade. We are comforted to believe that she is now reunited with her daughter Eve Rose who passed in 2017. She is survived by her parents Michael Linn/Michele, Patricia Dougherty, and her brothers- Tyler, Chris, Jacob, and Jordan.

Shari had a legendary zest for life which continues as her legacy. Few people have lived their life as fully as Shari. Her intellect, beauty and vibrant love touched thousands. She cast a beautiful light wherever she went and those who were lucky enough to run in her circles knew they were in the presence of someone special. A break in our hearts is left with her passing but will not be as deep, thanks to the memories we each have and the love she showed all of us.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13th at South Mountain Community Church, 14216 Bangerter Parkway. Viewing will be 11am-12:30pm and the celebration of life starts at 1pm.

And also: Sunday June 4 at The Bible Club in Sellwood in Portland, Oregon from noon to 4pm.
