Shawn Christian Jensen passed away in his sleep on Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was born and raised in Orem, graduating from Orem High School in 2001 where he was on the wrestling team and was a lineman on the football team. He loved skiing at Snowbird and camping at the family cabin in Fairview. He worked as an installation lead tech for Vivint and as a medical transcriptionist before health issues prevented him from working. He was very intelligent and strong willed and loved to playfully debate politics. Shawn is loved by his family. He is survived by his parents Jan Paul Jensen and Carole Nelson Jensen of Orem, siblings Wendy Jensen, Brian (Stacy) Jensen, Katie (Randy) Fitzgerald, Heather (Nathan) Maughan, Scott Jensen, a large number of nieces and nephews, and his dog Bella. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, who are keeping him company until the rest of us catch up. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Another viewing will be held prior to services Friday, February 1, 2019, 9:30-10:30 a.m. funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunset Heights Stake Center, 1260 South 400 West, Orem.
