Stanley D. Adams, 89, of Orem left this world on December 30, 2018 surrounded by his family to be with his eternal love Thelma Adams.  He was born March 16, 1929 to George Glen Adams and Bethana Henrie Adams. Stan married Thelma Young on December 22, 1948.  They were later sealed in the Manti Temple in September 1971.  Together they had 3 children.  Stanley J (Jan) Adams, Steven (Laurie) Adams, and Susan Jones. Stan retired in 1991 after 41 years of service at Mountain Fuel.  Stan had many accomplishments including President of Orem Chamber of Commerce, President of Provo Kiwanis Club, member of Planning Commission of Orem for several years.  He also served in the Provo Temple for many years.  One of his greatest accomplishments was the time he spent coaching baseball and later watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play. Stan was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Thelma Adams, sister Rae Danner and granddaughter Natasha Adams.  Friends may visit with the family on Thursday January 3, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 646 East 800 North, Orem.  A Graveside will be held on Friday January 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orem City Cemetery 1520 North 800 East, Orem.  Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.walkersanderson.com
