Stanley Lamar Kallas, "Sonny", passed away on January 28 th from natural causes.  Stanley was born in Provo, Utah on August 10 th 1931.  After graduating from Lincoln High School in Orem, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Germany during the occupation.  Stanley was a Master member of the Masons and Scottish Rite.  Stanley was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Provo.  Stanley later married Joyce Elaine Sumter July 10 th 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Stanley and Joyce remained marred for 55 years and she preceded him in death on March 11 th 2008.  Stanley has a love for gardening and won the Orem beatification award in 1993.  He was survived by his children Ron Kallas, (of Idaho), Diana Cobbley (of Montana), Pam and Darren Clegg, (Lindon) Doug and Sasha Kallas, (Spanish Fork).  He was also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held on February 9 th @ 1pm at the Orem City Cemetery.
