Obituary

Stanley Randolph Nau, born March 23, 1947 a resident of Saratoga Springs passed peacefully surrounded by his family on September 5, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Janice Nau, his brother Richard Nau and sister Nancy Woodruff. He is also survived by his three children, David Nau, Timothy Nau and Amanda Blinzinger (Aaron

Blinzinger). His grandchildren Zachary Nau, Morgan Hansen (Manti Hansen), Brennan Nau, William Nau, Elijah Rigby, Samuel Rigby and step grandchildren Olivia, Rees, Noah and Violet Blinzinger.

Stanley's greatest legacy was that of faithfulness and devotion to God, Family and Country.

Stanley lived in some of the most beautiful places; born in California, raised in Colorado, 18 years in Alaska, Texas and finally his piece of "camelot '' on Utah Lake in Saratoga Springs.

He attended Arvada West High School in Denver, Co where he met and eventually married his wife Janice. After graduating from Colorado State University he joined the Air National Guard Reserves where he served for 6 years. During his distinguished career as an engineer he worked for Western Slope Gas Company for 12 years, Standard Oil of Ohio for 4 years, and then retiring from BP in 2010.

Throughout his childhood and during his years in Alaska Stanley enjoyed the great outdoors, including his love of bike riding, fishing and boating. These loves and his passion for playing passed to his children and

grandchildren. He taught his grandsons to fly remote control airplanes, a hobby and passion from his youth. In addition to the outdoors he loved sailboats, motorcycles and cars!

Stanley was selfless and always willing to lend a hand, he was known by all who knew him as "Mr. Fix It". His incredible intellect for how things worked allowed him to engineer and fix just about anything. He served his community as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served faithfully for many years as clerk and had various other callings within the church. Stanley left a legacy of kindness,

honesty and absolute devotion to his family and his faith.

A celebration of his life will be held on September 8, 2023 in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Services will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 49 E. Centennial Blvd, Saratoga Spring, Utah. The viewing will be from 9:30 am-10:30 am. Funeral at 11:00 am in the Chapel. There will be a graveside service with full military honors to begin at 2:15 pm at the Orem City Cemetery located at 1520 N. 800 E. Orem, Utah 84097
