Steven Little Merrill, MD, our beloved "Doc", passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 after an injury. He was a native of Logan, Utah, residing in Southern California for 29 years, then Provo and Lindon, Utah since 1994. He was 86 years of age.

Doc was a highly respected and well-loved physician practicing General Internal Medicine & Cardiology both in California and Utah. After he was married with 2 small children and ready to open his practice he was drafted to serve in the Army in Vietnam as a doctor due to the number of casualties.

Upon completing his military service he served his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as Bishop, MTC Branch Presidency and various other callings.

Doc is survived by his wife, Suzanne Turner Merrill, and his choice daughters Shauna (Jeff) Ogden, Trisha (Mick Jansma) Merrill, Merrilee (Peter) Schofield, Marinda (Steven) McIff and his sister Eve (Edward) Scott. He has 24 Grandchildren, and 22 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Randall Steven Merrill (1988).

Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 2, 2021 at 12 pm in the Grandview South Stake Center 1122 North Grand Avenue. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday December 1, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 85 East 300 South Provo, Utah 84606 or on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 am at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery.
