Susan Eagar Herold, age 54, passed away on January 20, 2018, after a 4 year valiant struggle with cancer, Susan was born August 4, 1963, in Provo, Utah. She attended public schools in Orem, Utah, and attended college at Utah Valley State College graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Electronic Automation. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Susan married Ray McDaniel on July 15, 1987. They were later divorced. Susan found and married the love of her life, Joe Herold, on July 12, 1996, and they lived in Orem, Utah, close to the brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews that Susan loved so much. Susan was a gifted seamstress and created beautiful costumes that sold nationwide. She shared her knowledge and expertise with others and many family and friends benefited from her talents. She loved animals and always had a soft spot for God's little creatures. Susan is survived by her husband, Joe Herold and her beautiful daughter Anna Rexine. She is also survived by her siblings: Jon Ross Eagar, David Rex Eagar, Dale Roland Eagar, Roxane McDaniel, Barbara Dell Tilton, Russell Clinton Eagar, Wendy Rasmussen, Matthew Wayne Eagar, Aaron Vincent Eagar, and Steven Luke Eagar. Susan was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Jessica McDaniel; her older brother Layton Eagar; and by her parents Wendle and Rexine Eagar. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 1 1 a.m. in the Orem Cascade 5th Ward Chapel located at 1050 East 200 North in Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the chapel prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
