Sybil Joy Cook Reedy. Age 78 died peacefully at Utah Valley Hospital on November 6th 2021. After a battle with Covid-19 she was surrounded by her loved ones. In the end, she was comforting us, and making us smile.

Sybil was born November 13th 1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To Alonzo and Annie Cook and was raised in Garfield (Rigby) Idaho. She graduated from Ricks college which is now BYU Idaho with an associate's degree in accounting. Served a mission in Oklahoma where she met her husband Richard who was also serving a mission. They had 50 amazing years together. She is a very dedicated mother and wife; she was the glue that held the family together, the forever peacemaker. Her faith in our savior was without question and her dedication to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Sybil is survived by her husband Richard, three children Daryl, Brad, and McKayla, along with 9 grandchildren. Also Cook siblings, brothers Gene, David (Iris), Clyde (LaRae) and sister Alice (Richard) Piccalo and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Cook, brother Lyle, sister-in-law Pat and a stillborn son Kyle.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem and prior to services Friday, November 12 from 9:30 -10:30 a.m at Lakeridge 8th Ward, 80 West 900 South, Orem. Services begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be Live Streamed on www.walkersanderson.com where condolences and memories may also be shared.
