Tanya Hale Radebaugh 1945-2017 Tanya Hale Radebaugh, 72, of Orem, Utah passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2017 due to a cerebral hemorrhage. She was at home, surrounded by her husband Lee and their six children. Tanya was born to the late Nathan James Hale and Ruth Emma Hudson on August 24, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1963. Tanya attended Brigham Young University, where she performed on a world tour with the BYU/State Department "Curtain Time, USA" and graduated in 1968. Tanya was married to Lee Howard Radebaugh on August 20, 1968, in the Salt Lake City Temple and they shared 49 profoundly loving years together in this mortal life. They have a testimony of eternal marriage and know this is not the end. Tanya served faithfully as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a number of callings throughout her life. Her favorite calling was serving alongside her husband who was the Mission President in the Brazil Porto Alegre South Mission, from July 2000 to July 2003. She loved her missionaries so much and tended to their daily needs with love and compassion. She also loved her time serving as missionaries in the Provo Missionary Training Center from 2011-2016. Tanya was "born" on the stage where she shared her talents throughout her life as an actress and director, skills she learned from her parents, Ruth and Nathan Hale. She directed and acted in plays in Salt Lake, Orem, Pennsylvania, and Southern Utah and performed in dozens of plays and musicals. Tanya loved to travel with her family and friends. She visited lands on six of the world's seven continents. She kept travel journals of her adventures and shared this love of travel with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite places on this Earth were her ranch in Wayne County, Utah, the beaches and jungles of Hawaii, the walkways of Disneyland, and her beautiful home--especially when surrounded by her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. Above all else, Tanya loved her Savior Jesus Christ. This love was evident in how she treated others and how she lived her life. This love for the Lord was the love she shared with her husband Lee, her children and her grandchildren. She knew how to make holidays special. Her presence will now be felt in every ornament placed on her freshly cut Boulder Mountain Christmas tree (even though we will never be able to find the right one without her guidance). Tanya is survived by her husband Lee and their six children: Jani Radebaugh, Amber Benson (John), Ryan Radebaugh (Lindsay), Melanie Peterson (Jack), Ashley Whimpey (Regan), and Kevin Radebaugh (Rachel). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and her siblings, Phil Hale (Barbara), Sandy Dietlein (Allan), Sherry Brian, and Cody Hale (Linda). Tanya is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Nathan, her sister Sally, her infant brother Terry, and her brother-in-law Pat Brian. A viewing will be held Thursday, October 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m., preceded by a viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Orem Canyon View Stake Center, 575 East 800 North, Orem, Utah.
